So as I'm walking down the halls, I see a student wearing a Darth Vader helmet, chatting with an assistant principal about the dice used in D&D. Just a happy and random little moment.
Bryon man, where’ve you been? I'm a fellow student teacher out in Oregon and I've found your blog very inspirational. Stumbled across it one day while surfin’ the net, lol. I completely connect with what you’ve been writing. Only been teaching in Stayton’s social studies department a few months myself. Ha! it’s certainly been a much different and more interesting experience than I could’ve imagined. Had the same problem winning over my student’s trust. But kids will be kids; don’t get disheartened by their comments. I’ll be looking out forward to your next post. Really ought to make one of these blogs myself, haha. Good luck with everything!!
Hey mannn, long time no blog... you should post more often. I must say I miss your wit and wisdom!You're pretty brave, my good man. I COULD NOT deal with going BACK to highschool-- it was hell the first time around LOL. What else ya been up to? I reallly wanted to see "Spinning Into Butter" but I was trapped in Iowa that weeeknd! Yikes! Helping my mother move! I'm kinda missin the old Marlboro gang... ahhh!
